How It Works?
Supersmile toothpaste with Calprox® works by gently dissolving the protein pellicle - a thin layer of protein that forms on the tooth surface, and to which plaque, bacteria, and of course, stains adhere. Removing the protein pellicle leaves the teeth feeling cleaner for a longer period of time. Baking Soda provides long-lasting germicidal protection to ensure fresher breath and to prevent gum disease. Teeth are protected with Fluoride while the Calcium and Phosphates work to re-mineralize tooth enamel.
Since Supersmile toothpaste contains no gritty silica - the abrasive ingredient commonly used in commercial toothpastes to scrape away the pellicle – it is 75% less abrasive than the recommended standard set by the American Dental Association.

Instructions
For best results, place a pearl size drop of Whitening Toothpaste on a dry toothbrush with an equal size of the Supersmile Whitening Accelerator or other whitening accelerator and brush in a circular motion for two minutes twice daily. Rinse afterwards.

I have avoided a dentist for whitening because I don't want to overly sensitive my already sensitive teeth. But I drink a lot of coffee and tea, and I notice it has an effect on my teeth (which are not white to start with, so don't need to be made worse, ya know?) This has worked for me. I use toothpaste for sensitive teeth most of the time, but about 3 to 5 times a week, I use this system to remove some of the accumulated stains from food/beverages. I notice a difference. It's not a dazzling difference, mind you--you're not gonna look like some movie star. But it's enough that I NOTICE. I've been using it for several months (prior to that I used the Supersmile for four years by itself). It really works better with the bleaching gel. However, I suggest you use slightly less of the bleaching gel (the clear one) or you'll run out too fast. The directions say use equal measures of both, but somehow, I always run out of the bleach before I run out of the toothpaste, even when it looks like I'm using equal measure. I always keep a spare of this system in my bathroom cabinet. I wouldn't do that unless this had some good effect. :) |

I have used this toothpaste for over two years now. When I first purchased it I used the toothpaste alone and while I got results, once I began using the accelerator with it, my results got much better. I use this twice a day and have found it keeps my teeth white and in great shape. I think many think they will get that superwhite smile 5 min after using something like this, that is not the case, it takes a bit of time. After I knew it's affectiveness, I gave a set to my mother who after years of drinking tea had extremely yellow teeth. After a month, her teeth dramatically improved. I like a more natural white, my teeth have never been what one would consider dingy. I have seen improvement as well and maintain what I have with this and britesmile (which I use once a day, after I drink coffee or eat anything that would naturally stain the teeth) this combination, along with brushing whenever I eat, helps me maintain my smile. |

I had previously smoked for 25 years, coffee and more. Tried shelf bought whitening toothpastes and even strips with no results. I could immediately tell Supersmile whitened my teeth. I can see stains from cigars fading away. Understand that this is not a miracle product, they don't exist. You will never get pearly white teeth like a movie star where you need Zoom or expensive Veneers from a dentist or oral surgeon. I knew it was worth my money when my dentist asked what I was using to whiten my teeth. They were astonished that it worked on fillings and even an implant. I eventually had Zoom done and continue to use Supersmile once or twice a day, preferably at night when your not going to eat or drink anything so you don't wash it away. In a market full of scams to whiten your teeth, lose weight and more, this is as close to the real deal as you can get. This is no different then a car wax that promises to fill in scratches and swirls... It will. A little. Short of going to a body shop (dentist in this case) it's an affordable, effective alternative. |
