PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Light-White™ is an important new innovation in teeth whitening. It is a light-activated teeth whitening gel that contains a true patent-pending photo-initiator that has the ability to catalyse the rapid release of whitening-free radicals when exposed to UV and visible light in the range of 360 - 480 nm. Light-White™ is no ordinary product; its world class chemistry has the ability to whiten teeth in 50% less time, and it can cause teeth to become significantly visibly whiter in just a single use.
How It works
As the peroxide from the whitening gel is broken down by the patient’s / client’s saliva, water and gingival crevicular fluids, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin, bleaching colored substances white, leaving the structure of the tooth unchanged. The product is designed to be used with any full-spectrum (white) or blue-colored bleaching lamp. Certain wavelengths of light emitted from the lamp aids in activating the peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. Light-white contains a patent-pending and proprietary microencapsulated photo-initiator that acts as an interface between the light and the peroxide. The pH of Light-White™ is 7.0.
Photo-Initiator
The true essence of the Light-White™ patent pending technology is that its composition is contained within a convenient, cost-efficient single chamber delivery system in gel form having dispersed therein pressure-sensitive or hydration-sensitive microcapsules containing a light-activated photo-initiator of a peroxyl-containing teeth whitening composition that are liberated upon mechanical manipulation of the microcapsules or by exposure of the photo-initiator microcapsules to water or other oral fluids.

Instructions
Brush and floss your teeth. Place a small line of whitening gel per tooth in the frontal portion of your mouth tray for the front 6 - 8 teeth (approximately .5 cc or less per tray). The gel might irritate the gums if the trays are overloaded. Insert the trays very carefully keeping the gel on the teeth and away from the gums.
