Science Inspired Technology

Wavelengths of light within the visible color spectrum combine to achieve WHITE light. A primary color paired with a secondary (or complementary) color complete all the regions of the light spectrum, thereby creating a WHITE state. Traditionally, color or dyes have been used to enhance the presentation of oral care products in general. Blue is the most commonly used of the color additives. When blue dye is added to the surface of a yellowed tooth the spectrum is incomplete. Unfortunately, this incomplete spectral combination results in a green hue being reflected. The Freak'n White™ patented technology uses all of the primary colors of red, yellow, and blue to simulate the secondary colors of light. By pairing a yellowed smile with a complementary violet to blue-violet dye, the spectrum is complete... and when the spectrum is complete, WHITE is reflected.

Additional Benefits

Freak'n White™ has reinforced both whitening gels with Xylitol. Xylitol has been given the seal of approval from the American Dental Association (ADA) for its capacity to prevent dental caries. Recently the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has also given approval for xylitols’ health claim that it does not promote tooth decay.

Instructions for gel applications

Gel 1 Freak’n White™ Clear Gel

• Step 1. Remove blue cap from the syringe-end to expose applicator tip.
• Step 2. Apply a thin bead of gel onto the area of both trays that come in contact with the front of your teeth (about half of the gel for each tray: upper and lower).
• Step 3. Insert both trays (upper and lower) with whitening gel in your mouth. With a tissue, remove any excess gel that may contact your gums.
• Step 4. Wear the trays for 20-60 minutes (longer duration increases effectiveness).
• Step 5. Following the application, remove the whitening trays and rinse your mouth thoroughly with water.
• Step 6. Rinse the whitening trays thoroughly and dry completely.

Gel 2 - Freak’n White™ Violet Gel

• Immediately after using the clear gel and drying the trays, begin the Violet gel application.
• Simply repeat steps 1-6 from above with the Violet gel.
• Wearing the trays for only 15 minutes.
