Instructions

The Dr. Collins Bleaching System works like any other tray-based whitening system. Using boil-and-bite bleaching trays, a teardrop amount of teeth whitening gel is applied to the inner front surface of the tray. Depending on whether or not you have whitened before and the concentration of the bleach, the wearing time of the tray can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours a day for up to a week.

Possible Discomfort, Sensitivity, and Pain

Your teeth or gums may become sensitive with the Dr. Collins All White Bleaching System. This is common while using any products containing peroxide based gels and it is reversible. In case of increased sensitivity with this product you can reduce usage time and/or use the Dr. Collins desensitizing gel. This system is one of the few systems out there which includes a desensitizing gel. We were quite pleased to see this! The desensitizing gel uses Potassium Nitrate which actually works its way into the center of your tooth (the pulp) and has a numbing action that prevents you from feeling serious fluid loss.
